This morning I got up early to check the testrealm & to test a paladin.

Well, every tree etc I posted till now is true. Our new talent trees SUCK. The new judgements (10s? WTF? You need to hit all the time...) SUCK. To get to talents that are actually good, you first need to choose talents that SUCK.

gg Blizz, you just RUINED my main char I put like 60 days in or smg. Great, just great....

I hope some changes are on the horizon. I was happy with my talenttrees before, now I respecced 5 times in 30 mins and STILL it sucked... :/

You handled this the best way I think it was handlable.

Having done a little testing on this it actually feels like you NERFED our agro holding abilities in all bar one situation:
Since it's a self buff not a judgement, Paladins now wont pull agro off other paladins.
However, in all other situations agro gain seems to have been nerfed SIGNIFICANTLY -> Why? because we now need to use the max rank abilities (we cannot sustain this kind of mana output) to tank sufficiently for a raid.

Ya know, I was dueling a felhunter/warlock combo earlier and all he did was hp drain me, spell lock me from the pet, and fear me, THREE BUTTONS and there was very little I could do to beat him.
He just funneled hp back into his pet, if I attacked him the pet removed my seal. (WHICH IS EXPENSIVE TO RECAST NOW YOU MORONS).
If I attacked the pet I also got no where.
When he eventually ran OOM he just transfered hp to mana and went back to hp draining me.
Fight didn't end until I eventually (after 15 minutes) went oom.
GJ there blizz, exo made no differences anyway.

I don't know why Blizzard is doing this instance-reset thing either. It makes no sense and indeed forces people into schedules that are hard on
a) social life :P (Who are you kidding? - Editor)
b) progress of new instances vs farming of old instances.
I see no problem with the system as it as. You can set the start & you have a couple of days from that point on. This way you are gimping your chances of finishing an instance if you don't start on wednesday... :(

Well I'm worrying about the case when we'll have 2-3 or more instances in the learning phase, the timer will start on every maint. day and I'm afraid we won't have enough time on some instances. Like, lets say we need 3 days to reach a certain boss in BWL, and lets say we manage to kill the first boss in AQ, that is 4 raids (I assume 1 day=1 raid), now we have 3 days till the instance resets and there are also the small instances like ZG and mini AQ, what are we going to do? I'd prefer a timing where you can say that okay, we'll leave BWL for a few days cause we're progressing well, and we'll start the AQ timer now, so we can keep trying that for at least 7 days. Ofc it will change when we put on the farm status on BWL or AQ :) But anyway these are my worries, others don't share it, they say it will be much more manageable, I hope they're right and I'm wrong :)

Mhm, yeah, I do Imp. BoW on all casters + hunters, so if this is the case, we need to revise our tactics. Next time, I'll save my DS for this happening ;)

And with the changes to the instance resets, I am not sure how we will do this. I think it's pretty annoying, yes. Indeed, the lag will be higher & there will be more horde & alliance at the entrances. Wednesday might be best to do Ony & a start of MC, because these are the easiest things, where we can handle some lag & disconnects (patchday :(). After that, we should just go with the flow 8)

Yesterday during the Broodlord fight for some reasons he targeted Ender for a few secs, do you remember? Well, look what I've found, check from post #5

As far as I know Ender is the BoW machine, and he works fine :) Something to consider in the future.

Just read it all.. And to be honest.. Both the patch changes & the tree changes look like a nerf to the way I play. I think retribution paladins might be happy (although 70% instead of 100% damage for SoC might not be great, although in the end, the dps is the same). If I check the trees, I think it will be a close call if I can keep the talents I now have in Holy & Prot. Ah well, will have to see. For once, I'll actually be trying the test-realm. I expect the ETA of the test-realm to be next week for Europe & the patch in 1 month. But your guess is as good as mine ;)

/edit: Just read everything again. Seems like you have to take more !@#$-talents to get to the ones that make a difference. Well, the ones I want anyway :P I hope I am wrong. But if I'm not, this is a nerf in disguise.
