What I will do now is try & keep this rig working and I will contact the shops to ask what they want me to do (send the new stuff back to be replaced I hope) and I will buy a new case & PSU, so that I can put in my new hardware without going insane in the meantime because my old PC is unoperable ;) I never want to be without my own pc ever again :P

Hope that I am still alive & online this evening, then I'll come to kick ass ;)

bah Ender:( Its kind a big suck!:( almost the same as here. after 1 year my motherboard and my ram-s fucked up:( But the biggest problem that it happend 1 week after the end of the warranty period.:( my luck was that my ram-s have lifetime warraty, but my motherboard...trash atm:(

And if it helps u: may the best PSU's are more expensive, but more trusty....think a Thermaltake or an Enermax is the best choice for a high end (or almost high end) PC. Its confortable, reliable and it insure enough power.

Ok, today was my personal day from hell...

First, my PSU blows up. I buy a new one, only to come back & discover what went wrong. Seems my brandnew SATA HD had a connector which was slightly askew. This caused a tiny metal beam to bend when I inserted the power-connector. This gave a shortcircuiting which blew the PSU & the HD.

But it gets better!! When I tried installing Windows, I got all sorts of errors. I did lots of things & some of the errors went away. But in the end I was still stuck with some BSODs which meant as much that either the memory, the mainboard, or both are broken... :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry:

So after all this !@#$ I decided to reinstall my old hardware. This took a while & gave some problems as this is a new PSU with different connectors. But it seems to be working now, finally. Not sure about the stability though, I'll test that a bit in the morning. But I could not make it for BWL this evening, I'm sorry. I will do my best to be up & running again soon. I hope you guys can see that this sucks for me a lot :( The PSU wasn't free & now the MB & RAM need to be replaced too..... I hope the shops show me some kindness ....

How can I be so unlucky :( Now all my fun in the new stuff is gone :cry: Not to mention time & money :cry:
