Nekem kamu szagúnak tűnik, pl: "A Warrior with 30 or more Rage in Berserker Stance becomes immune to Fear effects."

In the upcoming patch (1.11) we want to make some adjustments to the Warrior class, in particular we want to focus on a Warrior's role in PvP (World and Battleground). As was stated earlier, World PvP improvements will be one of the highlights of our upcoming patch (Including an all new 40-Man Raid Dungeon!) and we hope to fine tune all classes so that they may take full advantage of the new opportunities delivered.

It is no small secret that Warriors tend to be one of the more dependant classes in PvP. Dependant on both gear and allies (generally healers) to assist them in slaying the opposite faction. Our goal is to make Warriors a bit more self-sufficient and resilient through new abilities and talents insted of raw stats/equipment.

Our first order of business will be to most definitely address the issue of 'Rage Generation'. It's obvious that a Warrior will generally hit harder with an epic weapon as opposed to a rare weapon, which leads to higher rage being produced resulting in more damage from abilities. This leads to a very large balancing problem as damage increases somewhat exponentially with better weapons. Normalized rage generation seems to be the solution however we do not want to trivialize the hard work of our many epic geared Warriors. While there are no concrete plans in effect yet, you can expect to see a fairly large rage generation boost for low-end geared warriors and a small decrease for higher-end Warriors.

Now don't cry foul yet! I'm getting to the good stuff.

It is also common knowledge that Warrior's are one of the more easier classes to manipulate in PvP. A Warrior who is snared or rooted loses much of his offensive power. Generally a Warrior is expected to charge into close quarters, build as much rage as possible, and then unleash it all before they go down in a blaze of glory.

That is about to change.

1) We are going to give Warriors a reason NOT to use Rage.

2) We are going to make Warriors in Defensive Stance capable of actually protecting their more 'squishy' allies; Giving them a reason to stay behind the front lines.

3) We are going to make shields an integral part of Defensive stance in PvP. The combination of shield, stance, and new abilities will allow for Warriors who are at a maneuvering disadvantage (due to snare, root, or other reason) to regain their footing. However, damage dealt in Defensive stance while using said new abilities will be decreased significantly.

4) We are looking into some large changes for the Protection tree. Rather then keep it a 'Tanking' tree, and not a very viable choice outside of PvE content, we want to make it more of a 'Sword + Shield' tree. Geared towards general combat with a sword and shield.

While I don't want to go too much into detail and bore you, , allow me to give you some examples of changes you may see in the upcoming patch.

Taunt - Will have the same function as before, in addition, will work similar to a Rogues distract in that it will force the target to face you. Talent points will add additional effects - Causing your victim to lose it's current target, Causing your victim to target you.

(A little clarification: On NPC's the skill will continue to work exactly as it does now, on player targets the skill will simply change their direction or target - it will not force them to keep that target.)

Berserker Stance - A Warrior with 30 or more Rage in Berserker Stance becomes immune to Fear effects. (Not including Deathcoil)

(There will be additional changes to existing abilities to compensate for this. Berserker Rage and Death Wish in particular)

Shield Block - Reduces the next Melee, Ranged, or Magical attack by 75%. Lasts 5secs

Entrench - Requires Shield, Requires Defensive Stance. This ability becomes available when a Warrior is Rooted - Warrior kneels behind his shield absorbing 60% of all ranged/magical attacks (from in front of him) for 10 seconds. The Warrior cannot move, attack, or gain rage for the duration of the ability. Cooldown 5 minutes.

Retreat - Requires Defensive Stance. Warrior is removed from combat and loses all rage. Cooldown 1 minute

New Talent Protection Tree -
Provoke - Requires Defensive Stance. When active gives a 20% chance that your target will counter attack you after dealing damage to him. You have an additional 50% chance to Block this attack.

Improved Revenge - (After a block, dodge, or parry) In addition to damage, stun your target for 1 second. (No diminishing returns)

These are just some of the changes in store for the Warriors in the next patch.

As you can tell most of the changes are geared towards PvP. We would like Warriors in PvE to remain basicly the same minus a few talents in the protection tree, and a little more freedom to specialize the way they see fit.

Ez azért is lenne érdekes...mivel még az igazán melee rugóknak sem egy talenten van a +dmg / +hit / +crit...mindegyik szépen külön, külön...és ők még így is imbák :)

Mondjuk a bloodthirst mint debuff az ellenen...azt megnézném...ha már VE-ről van szó :)

* Dwarf Females now generate rage at a rate three times greater than normal.
* Intimidating Shout now has a chance to intimidate its user.

ahoj,

kamu, már csak a death coil miatt is. A blizz többször leszögezte, hogy a DC-t semmilyen anti-fear abilitynek nem szabad megtörnie... valószínűtlennek tartom, hogy pont egy 30mp-ként spammolható cucc adjon immunitást a dc-re.
